The Villa may be a luxurious playground for adults but it also offers an abundance of interesting features for kids. Children often tire of sightseeing and shopping when on holiday but at Villa RaJa an array of activities await on their doorstep. Plenty of children's DVDs can be found in the cool, dark comfort of the cinema room. Outside they will encounter Oscar the resident tortoise as he paddles around the fish pond. They are used to being handled by people and love a piece of fresh lettuce. Children love to watch the tame fresh water albino catfish circle lazily in the ponds surrounding the Villa. Offer a piece of bread and their gaping mouths will slurp it from your fingers. But by far the favourite Villa RaJa feature with the little ones is found just beyond the pond: "Shorterbom". Designed by the builders responsible for Kuta's multi-million dollar "Waterbom" park, this 12m slide will send them skimming into the beautiful fresh water of the 22m pool. And of course relax in the knowledge that your children are well looked after by Villa staff if you wish to go out and explore on your own.
